The areas in which Indigenous Australians live are quite different to those of the non-Indigenous population. A much higher proportion of the population live in remote and regional Australia where infrastructure and the availability of services can be quite variable. However, even in urban areas, Indigenous Australians tend to live in suburbs and neighbourhoods that are relatively disadvantaged. In this lecture, we will discuss the relationship between community infrastructure (broadly defined) and wellbeing.
